There are many things people will do for the love of money, and this is not something new. There are movies and songs named after and built around this idea, and there seems to be no end in sight to the power that money has on the world. It almost makes you yearn for the days when we used the barter system, but it would stand to reason that this system went the way of the dinosaurs because it simply didn’t work as well as the system of money does. That doesn’t mean money is perfect, but people love it all the same.

Money is powerful, and in some cases it is more powerful than love. That’s a shame, but it’s the truth. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. I don't think love of money is evil, but so tempting to many to take advantage of others in the pursuit of it, or lie cheat and steal to get it. The original quote comes from the New Testament and the correct quote is "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil". Yet the love of money is not only one of the strongest moving forces of human life, but money is, in many cases, desired in and for itself.
If you have ever seen a young girl on the arm of a very old man, you know she’s doing it for the love of money. She may be fond of him, but you know she’s after his money. She may not necessarily be waiting for him to die so she can have it all, but you can bet that if he wasn’t spending it on her that she would be long gone. I think this is a waste for both of the parties involved, but you also have to think that if they are both happy and aware of what is going on then there really is nothing wrong with it. You might not get the same thoughts on the matter from their families, however.
Perhaps the biggest question is not what others will do for the love of money, but perhaps what you will do. You want to think hard about the answer to that question, as there are many who have not given it enough thought, and they have ended up regretting their choices. If you talk to young women who turned to stripping or other jobs along those lines, you might find that they indeed regret what they did for the love of money. Some of them are happy, but many more wish they had made better choices and think they have no way out.
You also want to concentrate on what you teach your children. You want them to know that they are worth more than anything that money can buy, and that they should never give up their dignity, or their body, for the love of money. They will end up unhappy and regretting the course of their life. You may not even have to talk to them about this. If you make sure you instill a great sense of self-esteem within your children, you may never have to worry about what they will do for the love of money. They may trip up once in a while, but you know they will always find the right path in the end.

Counterfeit money is still a growing problem around the world
Although it is less common of a problem than it used to be, counterfeit US currency is still a growing problem around the world, as it is fraud plain and simple. Millions of dollars of counterfeited money change hands every year, subverting the ability of the government to control the monetary source, ripping off merchants, and allowing the counterfeiters to get something for nothing. Although counterfeit money detection exists, it is not really used enough. The new series of bills are more secure, but if you use old counterfeit bills, you can probably get away with it – at least I have been told. For a long time, it was just simply too easy to counterfeit US money, more...
